Northfield Ecocentre has extensive experience working with communities to create thriving community gardens that allow people to share and develop food growing skills whilst enjoying a healthier diet and lifestyle and living alongside nature. The original Ecocentre garden is now run by a home-schooling network. Masefield and Allens Cross regularly win RHS awards at levels 4 and 5.
We provide a range of opportunities for getting involved as a user, volunteer or partner. Find out about our regular sessions and one-off courses, workshops and events below.

Move More Eat Well & Coney Green Drive Allotments
Between 2016 and 2018 we are running a number of courses, support schemes and sessions for the communities of Longbridge, Northfield, Rubery and Cofton as part of the Move More Eat Well programme. Aimed at helping people feel healthier, we are offering ways to get active through growing your own food and learning more about healthy lifestyles through cooking and healthy eating sessions with community groups and childrens centres. We can also help groups set up their growing space as part of our Power2Grow scheme so get in touch with email@example.com or visit the Move More Eat Well site or find out about Power2Grow.
